The orchestra actively performs with renowned famous soloists and groups, including Anders Paulsons, Sergej Nakariakov, Pavel Giunter, Petras Geniušas, Daumantas Kirilauskas and Vytautas Sondeckis and others. The orchestra participates in various projects, including stage, theatre and contemporary dance productions.
The orchestra relentlessly explores new forms and closely collaborates with Lithuanian and foreign composers. It commissions new works, publishes new music, implements educational projects and provides workshops.
Giunter Percussion is a percussion ensemble that actively performs for over 20 years. Established by Pavel Giunter in 1995, it became the first percussion ensemble in Lithuania that performed classical, contemporary, folk, popular and jazz music. Now they offer a new program with the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra. The program combines the rich timbral palette of percussion instruments with wind instruments, showcasing the most unexpected colours and inviting listeners on an exotic acoustic journey.
